Crone Corkill are assisting a technology consultancy as the look to hire an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) Specialist on a permanent basis. This could also be considered as a Lead or Architect position, so please apply if you feel suitable. They’re ideally looking for someone who has worked with Cisco IVR and has conversational AI solutioning experience.
Based on feedback, they’d ideally like to see candidates with a strong focus on application level experience rather than just implementation, so if you have experience with Cisco IVR systems in contact centre or customer service environments, this could be the role for you!
This is a pivotal hire as they look to modernise customer interactions, migrating from legacy IVR to intelligent, natural language-driven experiences. An understanding of enterprise system design and AI/Machine Learning enabled voice applications is also ideal.
What will you do as an IVR Specialist?
In return, you’ll work as a pivotal figure within this client’s next generation IVR application – Taking full end to end ownership of the application within an enterprise environment.

What will you do as an IVR Specialist?
- Collaborate with other Architects to define E2E architecture for conversational AI voice solutions. This includes intent capture, caller ID, natural language processing, text to speech and orchestration layers
- Architectural decision making on Cloud native, Microservices and API first frameworks
- Own application level architectural design for conversational voice experiences
- Define architectural blueprints
- Design voice based enterprise applications
- Expertise with CCaaS/IVR (ideally Cisco)
- Conversational AI/NLP technologies
- Experience with Cloud platforms (ideally AWS)
- Proficiency in microservices, APIs and event driven design
- Familiarity with speech recognition, text to speech, dialog orchestration and AI/ML pipelines
In return, you’ll work as a pivotal figure within this client’s next generation IVR application – Taking full end to end ownership of the application within an enterprise environment.
