Join a Growing Legal TeamAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a well-established and expanding legal practice.
We’re seeking a motivated and client-focused professional who can independently manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload while delivering exceptional service throughout the property transaction process. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner looking to join a supportive and progressive team.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, ensuring every matter is progressed efficiently, compliantly and with excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
• Handle:
  
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of Equity
  • New Build transactions
  • Shared Ownership matters
  • Right to Buy transactions
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documentation.
• Investigate title and prepare comprehensive reports for clients.
• Review searches, raise enquiries and resolve title issues.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
• Provide practical legal advice and maintain excellent communication throughout each transaction.
• Prepare completion statements and oversee financial aspects of matters.
• Complete post-completion work, including Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty submissions.
• Maintain accurate case records using the firm’s case management system.
• Ensure full compliance with AML regulations, professional standards and internal procedures.

Essential

• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conveyancing case management systems.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Desirable

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.
• Minimum of two years’ experience managing residential property transactions.
• Experience with Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
• Good understanding of lender requirements and mortgage processes.
