Description of role:
Are you coming to the end of a contract and weighing up your next move? Or perhaps you’ve realised that sometimes the smartest career step is a long-term contract that offers real stability, exposure and even a bump in salary and progression?
This 12-month fixed term opportunity as an Accounts Payable Specialist offers the chance to join a globally respected law firm in the heart of the City, where your expertise will be valued and your contribution genuinely recognised.
What’s in it for you? Alongside working in stunning offices with panoramic views across London, you’ll benefit from 33 days’ annual leave, a discretionary performance bonus, and a non-contributory pension with a 5% employer contribution plus up to 3% matched. You’ll also benefit from a hybrid working policy with 4 days in the office and 1 from home. Add to that a genuinely collaborative culture, inclusive environment and a vibrant social scene, and you have a workplace where people stay because they enjoy being there.
In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll provide comprehensive Accounts Payable support across the London and European offices. You’ll audit and process Chrome River invoices and expenses, ensure accurate VAT treatment across multiple entities, maintain supplier records and verify bank details. You’ll prepare payment runs through 3E and Barclays, reconcile supplier statements, manage queries, support VAT reclaims and assist with audit and compliance requirements. Acting as a key point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of queries, maintain strict financial controls and play an essential role in keeping payment cycles running smoothly and efficiently.
So, if you’re a detail-driven Accounts Payable professional with strong VAT knowledge, experience in systems such as Chrome River and 3E, and a proactive, service-focused approach, this is your chance to step into a high-performing European finance team. Don’t miss the opportunity to secure a long-term contract with a leading international firm – apply now and take the next step in your career.
