Is this the role for you?
We are seeking an experienced Transfer of Equity & Remortgage Case Handler to manage a caseload from instruction through to completion. This role is ideal for someone with strong conveyancing knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
You will take responsibility for progressing matters efficiently while ensuring compliance with lender requirements and regulatory standards. This position suits a detail-focused professional who works well independently and as part of a team.

What you will do:
You will manage a caseload of Transfer of Equity and remortgage matters, ensuring files are progressed accurately and in line with service standards.
Key duties include reviewing titles, drafting TR1s and associated documentation, processing post and questionnaires, and calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT). You will liaise with clients, lenders, brokers, and third parties, providing clear updates throughout the transaction.
You will handle restrictions, lease requirements, and technical issues arising from Transfers of Equity, ensuring compliance with CQS, AML, and other regulatory obligations. Accuracy is essential to avoid post-completion registration or financial issues.
You will also support the Technical and Legal teams with referrals where required, provide feedback to minimise risk, and contribute to process improvements.

What you’ll bring:
You will have experience handling Transfer of Equity and remortgage matters, or at least two years’ remortgage experience with a strong understanding of lender requirements.
You will be confident using case management systems and managing deadlines in a target-driven environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and accurate data input are essential.
Excellent communication skills, sound judgement on technical matters, and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure are key to success in this role.

Why apply?
This is an opportunity to join a professional and supportive team where accuracy, service, and collaboration are valued. You will gain exposure to varied technical work while contributing to a high-performing conveyancing function.
