Are you a Commercial Property Solicitor seeking a new challenge in a progressive and well-established firm in Colchester?

We are working with a reputable regional law firm that is looking to expand its busy Commercial Property team with an ambitious and client-focused solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm with a strong presence across Essex and the surrounding areas. The firm have excellent staff tenure and are looking for someone to grow with the firm.

The Role
You will manage a broad and varied caseload of commercial property matters behind the typical high street clientele, including:

• Sales and acquisitions of commercial premises
• Landlord and tenant matters (leases, renewals, assignments)
• Commercial developments, from 5 units up to 150 units in one plot
• Property finance matters with lending agreements valued at over a billion
• Estate Preparation
• Advising a range of clients including developers, investors, landlords, and SMEs

You will also be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts and contribute to business development initiatives within the department.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 2 years PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply)
• A solid grounding in commercial property law with the ability to handle matters with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial approach
• A desire to be part of a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team
