Description of role:

Office Manager

A highly regarded professional services firm is seeking an exceptional Office Manager to take ownership of the smooth running of its London office and help create an outstanding experience for clients, candidates, and colleagues alike.

This is a newly created role within a well-established, values-led business and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and being at the centre of a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Working closely with senior leadership and consultants, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the firm, combining office management, diary coordination, front-of-house responsibilities, supplier management, and people administration.

The role would suit someone who is proactive, highly organised, calm under pressure, and confident managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings, including diary management, scheduling, invitations, and supporting documentation
  • Managing office supplies, facilities, and supplier relationships to ensure the office operates efficiently at all times
  • Liaising with landlords, contractors, cleaners, and other external providers
  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and maintaining a polished front-of-house experience
  • Supporting meeting room management and ensuring meetings run seamlessly
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Maintaining holiday and absence records accurately and confidentially
  • Supporting wider office operations, health & safety processes, and general administration
Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will likely have:
  • Previous experience within office management, executive support, operations, or front-of-house roles
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
  • A calm, polished, and professional communication style
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within professional services, executive search, consulting, or a similarly high-touch client environment would be advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business with a collaborative culture, strong values, and a genuinely positive working environment where no two days are the same.
