About the Business
An established, high-end, multidisciplinary private medical and healthcare business serving private and corporate clients. We are a dynamic organisation with a broad offering including clinical services, an online shop, laboratory services, corporate healthcare, and project work spanning industries such as film and media. We hold several industry accreditations and operate in a highly regulated environment.

Role Overview
This is a critical leadership role, managing the entire day-to-day operation of the clinic and the wider business. The successful candidate will take over from the current Clinic Manager and, initially, support a transition period alongside a senior assistant.
You’ll be responsible for leading a high-calibre team, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional patient and client care, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
You must be confident operating at a senior level, able to handle diverse operations and teams, and maintain a polished, discreet, and professional demeanour in a high-profile, high-expectation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, including staff coordination and patient care delivery
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to all departments including clinical, support, corporate, and project teams
  • Maintain and drive compliance with all relevant regulations (CQC, SEQOHS, ISO9001/27001)
  • Manage quality assurance, health & safety, and document control
  • Support HR processes: appraisals, development, team performance, and morale
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including corporate clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Partner with digital and marketing teams to support business development
  • Support commercial growth initiatives across all business divisions
  • Maintain a calm, balanced leadership style with clear decision-making under pressure

Candidate Profile

Essential:
  • Proven experience (5 years) in senior clinic/business management in a private healthcare setting
  • Graduate-level education
  • Confident, articulate, and professional – able to represent the business to high-profile clients
  • Clear understanding of working in a high-quality, premium, regulated healthcare environment (not NHS, dental, or beauty)
  • Strong commercial awareness, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams across multiple functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT-literate and comfortable with systems and processes
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Desirable:
  • IOSH / NEBOSH qualification or Health & Safety knowledge
  • Experience with ISO standards or leading quality audits
  • Exposure to corporate healthcare delivery or multi-branch/multi-service businesses
  • Experience within highly regulated environments
  • Personality & Style:
  • Professional and well-presented, ideally someone who is polished, calm, and confident in high-level environments
  • Mature approach – ideally late 30s with gravitas to interact with senior clinicians (some in their 60s-80s) and senior clients
  • Fair, non-partisan leadership style – able to manage teams objectively, inclusively, and without bias
  • Intelligent, forward-thinking, and emotionally intelligent

Additional Information
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (clinic operates between 8:00am–8:00pm; some flexibility and responsiveness required)
