A highly successful and well-established literary and media business is looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to its Chief Literary Agent.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who is genuinely passionate about media, entertainment and the people behind the industry, and who wants to work closely with a highly respected and influential figure.
The business and team are continuing to grow, and the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day organisation around the Chief Literary Agent, giving her greater capacity to focus on clients and the wider business.
The roleThis is far more than a traditional PA position. You will be right at the centre of a busy and highly connected working environment, with significant exposure to clients, writers, producers, agents and industry contacts.

Salary: £40,000
Location: London — 5 days in the office, with occasional flexibility
Hours: Not a traditional 9–5. Flexibility and a willingness to work outside standard hours when required are essential.

Experience: PA experience helpful but not essential; transferable skills and the right attitude are highly valued.

- Managing an exceptionally busy and constantly changing diary
- Coordinating meetings, calls, travel and logistics
- Arranging restaurants and client meetings
- Liaising confidently with clients and industry contacts
- Anticipating needs and proactively managing competing priorities
- Keeping on top of deadlines, commitments and follow-ups
- Providing comprehensive day-to-day PA support
- Handling a range of personal administration, accounting for approximately 20% of the role
- Assisting with arrangements relating to horses and other personal commitments
