Working pattern: Full-time, office-based

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded international investment firm as a Junior Executive Assistant, supporting its London Credit business.
The firm is looking to hire one or two bright, polished and ambitious individuals to join an established Executive Assistant team, supporting senior investment professionals across two areas of the Credit business: Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and European Corporate Credit, including teams focused on private equity and private credit transactions.

These positions are ideal for individuals with around 1–2 years’ experience in an assistant or business support role within financial services, ideally on the buy side, who are looking to build a long-term career in executive support.

The Role
Working closely with senior investment professionals, including Managing Directors and Principals, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
You will work alongside an experienced and collaborative EA team, benefiting from excellent mentoring, training and exposure to a sophisticated international investment environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high-quality administrative and business support to senior investment professionals.
  • Managing competing priorities and adapting to the demands of a fast-paced environment.
  • Supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the relevant investment team.
  • Working closely with established Executive Assistants and colleagues across the wider business.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and anticipating their needs.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the business and taking increasing ownership of responsibilities over time.
About You
We are looking for someone who is bright, proactive and naturally organised, with the confidence and professionalism to work alongside senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Around 1–2 years’ experience in an assistant, administrative or business support role within financial services, ideally within a buy-side environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A polished, professional manner and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • The ability to remain calm, adaptable and proactive when priorities change.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
  • A clear ambition to develop a long-term career within an Executive Assistant function.
Experience within investment management, private equity, private credit or a similar financial services environment would be particularly advantageous.
Additional languages, especially German, French or Spanish, would be beneficial but are not essential.

What’s on Offer?
  • Competitive base salary of £50,000–£60,000, depending on experience.
  • The opportunity to join a highly regarded international investment business.
  • Direct exposure to senior investment professionals and an established EA team.
  • Excellent mentoring, training and professional development.
  • Long-term career progression into more senior EA and business support positions.
  • A collaborative working environment with international exposure
  • Five days in the office, with the potential for occasional home working on Fridays, subject to business requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to develop their career within a high-calibre investment environment, gaining valuable experience and building a strong foundation for long-term progression.
