Job Summary:

As a Business Assistant in our Investment Bank, you will support 2-3 MDs within Client Account Services and 3 EDs. This fast-paced role demands a solid EA background with senior stakeholders, flexibility, advanced assistant skills, confidentiality, strong work ethic, excellent time management, resourcefulness, diligence, and a strong focus on business and client deliverables.

What you will do:

As a Business Assistant, you will manage advanced, proactive diary management, including internal/external meetings, conference calls, and the orchestration of off-sites, town halls, and skip-levels. You will handle travel and entertainment booking, partnering with relevant groups to ensure expense processing within policy and enforcing all CIB/Firmwide T&E policies. Your role involves extensive client handling, coordinating internal and external client interactions, department scheduling, and transactional activities. You will be responsible for expense processing, ensuring compliance with T&E policies, managing receipt requirements, and timely handover of information. Collaboration is key, as you will face off with wider support groups, partner with Business Management, and engage with key stakeholders across LoB. Effective data management is essential, requiring you to utilise internal systems for accurate data entry, report production, and information collation. You will oversee administrative housekeeping tasks, including managing distribution lists and technology usage. Integrating into the business, you will understand group priorities and business expectations, partnering with assistants across LoB to provide coverage. Additionally, you will participate in PPT, projects, and training opportunities, contributing to continuous improvement and performance enhancement.
