The key changes that are happening from 1st April 2024 are:

Increases to the statutory rate are:

• maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental, and parental bereavement pay will increase to £184.03 per week (previously £172.48) from 7th April
• sick pay will increase to £116.75 per week (previously £109.40) from 6th April. The lower earnings limit remains at £123.
