It’s easy to think sustainability is just about cutting carbon or going paperless. But it’s about how we look after people, how we make ethical choices, how we work with suppliers, and how we show up as a responsible employer.

Every business is different but here are a few ways we’ve seen companies (including us) show up sustainably in each of those areas:

Environmental: Reducing waste, switching to greener suppliers, and cutting unnecessary travel.

Human Rights: Offering flexible working, fair wages, and a safe, inclusive workplace.

Ethics: Acting transparently, avoiding conflicts of interest, and having clear policies in place.

What we’re doing

Ecovadis

We’re proud to have been awarded a Gold Medal from EcoVadis, one of the world’s most trusted sustainability ratings providers. They assess not just what you say you care about but what you actually do. It’s about policies, actions, and measurable progress.

EcoVadis evaluates companies across 21 criteria grouped into four key areas:

  • Environmental impact
  • Labour and Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement

APSCo

We are a member of APSCo, the Association of Professional Staffing Companies. Being a member of the APSCo family demonstrates our commitment to providing recruitment solutions of the highest quality that represent best practices in our industry.

93% Club

We know how tough the market is for upcoming professionals. In 2023 we formed a partnership with the 93% club, a pioneering organisation committed to transforming the landscape of social mobility for young people across Britain.

5% club

We’re proud to be part of the 5% club, giving our commitment to ensuring a minimum 5% of our employees will be recruited on an earn-to-learn basis into an apprenticeship and graduate programme.

Social value

We are responsible for support equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives in the communities we work with. This includes reaching out to disadvantaged groups and spending our volunteering hours supporting individuals in work, apprenticeships, work placements, and education opportunities. One way we ensure our team can dedicate time to this cause is with connect days – an annual programme for days to support local communities.

Why this matters to us (and to you)

Whether you’re applying for a job, hiring a team member, or partnering with us on a project, we know the how matters just as much as the what. People want to work with organisations that genuinely care about people, fairness, and the future.
