If you have at least three years’ experience in an Accounts role where you’ve taken on a broad range of duties, and you are looking for a step up, this could be a great move for you. I’m working with a highly regarded consultancy firm who truly value their people and enjoy a productive and collaborative environment. The small friendly team works on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office in Fitzrovia.
What you will do:

• Under the guidance of the Financial Controller, take responsibility for a range of financial statements, reports and commentary for 4-5 legal entities.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to streamline and improve policies and processes.
• Mentor and supervise the Finance Assistant who is responsible for transactional work
• Liaise with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact for finance related queries
• Assist HR with payroll processes and queries
• Assist with preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documentation

 
What you will need:

• A self-motivated and organised approach to your work demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple tasks whilst maintaining high standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
• Ideally, to have studied AAT, or be working towards ACCA/CIMA but candidates without this, who have relevant experience will also be considered
