Job Title – Senior Communications Officer
Sector – Not for profit
Location – London, 5 days office based with travel requirements throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
Salary – c£40,000

Our client, a high-profile non-profit organisation is seeking an exceptional communications officer to join their established team. Working in a beautiful location in central London you will take the lead in delivering communications plans for a range of projects and engagements throughout the year.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and delivering innovative communications campaigns to a wide audience whilst continually seeking creative opportunities to promote a wide variety of projects.
  • Drafting press releases, organising press briefings, preparing briefing materials and responding to media enquiries.

About you:
We are looking for a confident candidate, with excellent oral and written communication skills who has experience of working with sensitive material.  You must be calm under pressure, organised and flexible. Be self-motivated, have good news sense with the ability to use initiative.
**Previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally with a charity or government organisation**
