Crone Corkill are working with a Banking client as they look to hire a Technical Scrum Master on an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend beyond.

If successful, you’ll be joining to help drive their ongoing server migration project that they’re currently around 1/3 of the way through to completion.

What will you do as a Technical Scrum Master?

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Dev Lead to ensure a well planned pipeline of deliveries
• Ensure automated testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps processes are understood/implemented
• Facilitate efficient and effective applications migration from the current tech stack onto a modernised one
• Build close relationships with Front Office stakeholders globally
• Well versed and up to date with a wide variety of new technologies
• Manage Scums that enable app migrations, adapt software, integrate with vendor systems, and follow and expand the established SDLC processes
• Run Software Development Scrums consisting of Developers, Testers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders
• Keep stakeholders updated via direct comms, tailored reports and JIRA dashboards

What skills do you need as a Technical Scrum Master?

• Experience working in Banking/Financial Services
• Background working in IT previously (Development or Infrastructure ideal)
• Qualified Scrum Master
• Core Agile methodology expertise (Scrums, sprints etc)
• Understanding of Source Control & Release Management tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, GitHub etc)
