People Advisory Specialist Location: London Contract Type: Permanent Are you passionate about delivering expert HR advice and shaping a leader-led culture? We’re looking for a People Advisory Specialist to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional support across a wide range of employment-related matters. What You’ll Do Deliver a highly regarded Advisory service, supporting managers and fostering a culture of proactive people management. Handle and resolve queries, providing first-line expert guidance on conduct, performance, contractual issues, absence management, flexible working, and Occupational Health referrals. Manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and employment tribunals. Leverage Jira to manage workload, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional colleague experience. Coach managers and attend key meetings to support decision-making. Assist in designing and delivering development programs for managers on performance, absence, and employee relations. Identify risks, drive process improvements, and champion automation and manager self-service. Interpret and apply policies, escalating matters where appropriate. Stay up to date with employment legislation, trends, and best practices. What We’re Looking For Extensive experience in a People Advisory role with a proven track record in ER case management. Strong knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS Codes, and HR best practices. Excellent relationship management skills and ability to influence at senior levels. Skilled in preparing investigation reports, outcome letters, and policy documents. Highly organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify trends. CIPD qualification (or working towards) preferred. Experience with SMCR and FCA Conduct Rules is a plus. Why Join Us?
