Crone Corkill are partnered with a global Not for Profit who are looking to add a Senior Security Analyst to the team. You’ll be key helping shape and mature the landscape of their Security Operations.

Working within a close-knit Information Security team, your core focus will be on the Microsoft Security suite, working on L1/L2 incident response, vulnerability management and acting as an escalation point, whilst also assisting in mentoring junior/mid-level Analysts, ensuring compliance with security frameworks and risk management activities.

Before applying, please note that this is a hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 from home) for an organisation based in Kent.

What will you do as a Senior Security Analyst?
  • Mature Security Operations and the day to day running of the security programme
  • Ensure the secure configuration of managed services and cloud based IT services, particularly Azure, M365 and the E5 stack
  • Combine technical security expertise with the more policy driven side of Information Security
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with the likes of ISO27001, PCI DSS, GDPR etc
  • Mentor junior & mid-level members of the team
  • Triage of tickets, events, and incidents, whilst also supporting user queries
  • Investigate security issues and security incidents
  • Ensure the effective triage of vulnerabilities and support technology teams with remediation
  • Assist with the management of the ISMS
  • Perform security risk assessments for projects and BAU
  • Initiate & manage risk assessment remedial action and ensure IT and application systems are protected
What skills do you need as a Senior Security Analyst?
  • Microsoft Security suite – Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint etc
  • Vulnerability management (not vendor specific)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, including ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST & SOC2
  • Writing custom scripts/queries for specific events
  • Performing risk assessments, running vulnerability scans and arranging pen test
